Research on Reservoir Operation Rules Extraction Based on Decision Tree and Its Ensemble Model

Abstract Reservoir operation rules, as an important tool to guide reservoir operation, are not only the decision-making reference in period of planning and design, but also one key technologies affecting comprehensive benefits stage management. Therefore, rules extraction method based on decision tree its ensemble model was proposed this paper. The time index, early water level, inflow, outflow current inflow were selected form input factor set with scheduling principle. Comprehensively considering characteristics data principle tree, level at end determined output then corresponding simulated evaluation index regulation capacity. Furthermore, view difficulties selecting factors calibrating hyperparameters models, F test mutual information used correlation factors, Tree-structured Parzen Estimator introduced. Finally, methods applied Ahai Ertan Reservoirs, results showed that extracted have high precision, which demonstrated is practicable effective rule extraction.
